Woah, looks like i had some angry Kiwi upset about my post on the All Blacks, hope it was not Amanda, very uncouth of her otherwise. Apparently the All Blacks just play because they love the game and and not to just win, unlike the Irish team. Funny that there were reports on the front pages of the papers calling for 'heads to roll' and investigations and committees being set up to investigate the World Cup Performance, apparently the team were not seen to be loving the game enough, not because they did not win or anything.

oh that anonymous NZ poster is fiesty! and what makes his/hers comments so hilarious about drunken irish players is that dougie howlett was arrested the other night for drunk and disorderly behaviour, and wrecking a bmw. maybe he's just getting some practise in for when he moves up here to munster.

oh and another point, i can't believe i missed it first time around, is if the all black players play with such an unbridled love for the game and their country, why are so many packing their bags, and moving to english anbd french clubs for records amounts of money?!

atleast cullen and lumo had the graciousness to wait til they were washed up to make the move to the northern hemisphere club sides.

sounds to me like the ravings a drunken part time all blacks supporter.

I said we don't play SOLELY to win... we play also because it is a part of our national identity and because we love it... another side is to win and be the best and because it's a full time job... to earn money - that's why we have players going to france etc AND thats why when we don't win we cut out those we think are at fault for our losses. I'm merely telling you this because as a nation we are very sore, because we really love the game. we grow up with the game and to loose with one of our best sides ever is not something we are proud of. And because we are down in the dumps and complaining does not mean we should be eating humble pie - remember the whole world thought we would win, not just us.
